Senior Lecturer in Hydrogeology |

I am a member of the Environmental Earth Sciences group within the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia based in Norwich, UK. My background lies both in Structural Geology and Hydrogeology. I received my PhD in 2004 from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam where I was born (in 1974).
I am interested in complex, but not too complex, hydrogeological problems involving processes such as heat-transfer and variable-density flow. I aim to better understand such groundwater flow systems, like those listed below, using a combination of numerical modeling and field data collection. My current research focusses on three main themes, being:
